Thanks buddy.. iv got to agree, it was a small fix and things could of been 10x worse thankfully it wasn't lol..

Well I'm happy NOT, I ran the car up to temp on idle all gods so thought is dive it a rev and pop the shortie oil filter iv got from tegiwa decided to basically explode spraying £60 worth of oil all over burning my arm and neck as I tried to get out of the way!!

Oh jobby! :o Are you alright apart from the superficial?

What brand of Oil filter was it? Did it explode or did the thread strip? Did it screw on easily?

did you leave a old oil filter seal on the engine? so when u fitted the new filter there was 2 seals?? i know a man who has done that ;) :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: i wont name the man ;) :lol: :lol:

Are you saying the filter canister itself exploded? If so, that's seriously crap! Worth asking them replace the filter and oil FOC???

Yehh im ok buddy thanks, burbs are not that bad just felt worse when it happened lol...

I fitted it everything was bang on, sealed perfectly it was a hamp shortie filter

Yehh i Removed the old seal haha

It's stripped the thread and forced it off about 2mm making the oil spray in all directions,

Covered the wheels, wall, bonnet, floor everything I think it's funny now but at the time I was fuming wish I had it in tape I must of jumped 6ft back from it lol
