Whilst going through the paperwork for the car I noticed it seems to be referred to as a GXi on the owners card originally supplied by Honda

Googled it but couldn't find anything about it. Is it just a typo, or is it because the GSi is built on the EXi spec or something? :?

Every document has a different variation on the model name on it, obviously 1987 wasn't a good year for accurate paperwork at Honda :lol:

I just want to get out and drive it :(

Need new tyres as well, had a quick look online and black circles is saying I need 185/70R13's, eh?! :?

I would, but it's locked up in my mate's compound until the new year :( Trying to get ahead of the game before then by getting some tyres ready so he can swap them over for me on the day I pick it up :)

That sounds more realistic, no idea why all the online sites were giving such a weird size :lol: Thanks mate :)

Would the 195/60's give better traction and handling at all, as they are wider and have a lower profile?

Better traction yes.

The ratio is a percentage of the width, so...

185x0.65=120.25 Wall height
195x0.60=117 Wall height

So practically nothing in the height of the profile, just 10mm in the width.

before you go about replacing the tyres, i have a set of these oldskool rims for sale.

set of 4, 4x100 et45 made by enkei. 2 of the tyres are ok. 185/60h14

they do have some slight kirbing and some of the lacquer peel, but after a good rub down and re-lacquer they will be like new. £100. im about 3 hours away from you.
