No mate, I wanted too, but the discs only arrived on Friday and I wanted the job done this weekend as we're on holiday at the end of the month and there's no guarantees I'd have any other time to do it before then. I can always paint them whilst they're fitted, so we'll see ;-)

I can see!

Sorry bud. Totally forgot to reply to this. I had to wait until I was home to check the invoice, but just looked and it turns out I don't have one lol. Got them from the States as you'd probably guessed. I think they were from ebay... Cheapest place basically.

Anyway, today I got around to doing the much needed headlight bulb replacement/setup. I've been driving around very cautiously these recent dark evenings due to the fact I can't really see where I'm going :scaredtoss: My headlights have been shocking!

I took a wrong turning off of a roundabout recently because I couldn't see the road signs and then thanks to the added mask of rain I wasn't even able to see any up and coming laybys or turnings to turn around in until I was level with them. I had cars behind me as well to add to my panic  I ended up putting my light of full beam for the rest of my 20 mile journey just so I could see... And not one oncoming car flashed me!

So after a bit of research I decided to fit a set of these...

Image

And after setting them up correctly (as they were also aimed too low and out of alignment) the difference is amazing! :D

This before picture doesn't look half bad actually, but I'm obviously stopped and it was a clear night and there's no glare from oncoming traffic (I've literally not been able to see the road when facing oncoming cars :? ).

So before (Pictures taken with the camera on top of the steering wheel)...

And after...

Image

Looking back at this picture it looks like I've set my level up too high, but it was perfect when I set it up in front of my Dad's garage and the drive there is level. This part of the drive has a subtle run on it...

In front of the garage...

Image

I've not taken her for a drive through any unlit areas yet, but I'm actually looking forward to it now as apposed to shitting myself with the prospect

Back at mine before...

Back at mine after...
