Auto / manual ecu.... Question
Post by Danni22 » Thu Dec 20, 2012 10:52 pm
As most if you no I'm going to be starting the polo build this weekend but its now on a manual box still with the auto ecu..
What problems will I face?? Iv tried to do some research but all I can find is that the engine light will be on...
Will the fault code put it into limp mode?

how have you got round the issue with the auto ecu ?
im not sure how you go about removing the imoboliser but if you have the key/imoboliser parts from the donor car you could just wire them in the get around it. otherwise www.h-tune.co.uk maybe able to the relevant soldering work if it can be removed

I'm going for a hondata S300 in the new year, it's just to get it started to iron out any problems and running issues
Iv been told you carnt run it with the auto ecu but the only issue I can see is the fact it will bang up a fault code what this code will do I'm not sure

Did you get the post I put up on your other thread showing the resistors to swap over in order to convert the auto ECU to manual mate?
