Because with my current is for a 2 litre prelude. I brought the wrong one. Yes my car runs and fine too, but the performance is not there at all, and plus my engine management light is on, along with the abs and brake light on the dash-Ecu isnt right for the car

Whats wrong with the old one? What happened?
We do simple repairs, but to be honest, if its a solid CEL, its probably knackered and not worth paying us £35 to look at it.
That ECU on ebay looks like the right one, Did you win it?

Yeath tbf it probably is knackered Scott. I fried it while fitting a chip to it, that wasnt a spoon and worked like a piggy back chip...
When i ran her the car would have very low idle revs on start up and often stall at traffic lights and when trying to start her and would jump allover the place around over the 3500rpm mark. It was terrible to drive at the time, but i learnt my lesson from that chips can not be put on my particular prelude, or your asking for trouble!
haha where did you see me Knightmare? Soton/totton?
As for the current ECU i have: [for a 2litre prelude], not the fried one......As follows:
Its under powered because the auto kickdown is totall pants, like non exsistance, and the topspeed is now not over 100mph. Also the performance in genrall seems pants ie 0-60 seems crap and its just not like driving a sports car anymore. Hopefully the ecu ,which yes i did buy [got it for £85
] off ebay as you have seen, is the right one as scott says. Should arrive in the next few days, and will probs make contact with Dbo to help me put it in place. Not sure if it needs codeing or not though? If so where can i get it done, and if i run her without coding the ecu will there be a problem?
Also im not sure if this ecu i just brought is for the JDM version rather than the UKDM version?
Edit: The other thing i forgot to say is mine is a H23A2 RIGHT? The ecu i brought says its for a H23A! Confused.com

Yeah,
That ECU will be fine, and H23 Automatic ECU will run its pretty much bang on i' say.
Plug it in and then dont worry about it ever again.
