KGB Deals Drifting intro - Again!

Post by nucleustylzlude » Sun Dec 16, 2012 3:26 pm

Hey guys,

Been keeping an eye on this one, it's another group deal on KGB Deals for an introduction to drifting. Me and Phil did the same deal earlier this year. It was a great day to get a taster. Only thing I would say is I wish we got more time in the cars, I wouldn't pay the full price for the time we had, but at this price it's worth a go without forking out for a car, setting it up and looking for venues. It probably covers some of the fuel and tyres they use during the day.

I'm half tempted to buy it again for the new year but not sure I can afford it right now??? :?

We drove a 180SX, R32 Skyline GTS 4 door, and a 350Z, plus passenger rides with a top pro (mental!).

Anyone interested?

Tempted!

Although reading the blurb, it seems you only get 10 minutes of seat time, plus a 2 lap passenger ride. Doesn't seem much :(

£40 for 9 hours Drifting with us, you need your own car, fuel and tyres though

But I guarantee you will learn far more than doing donuts in a carpark ;)

Nah it's not worth doing unless like this you only get limited seat time with a instructor beside you so you can't damage the car.

New year might see some changes but more than likely it won't be till the year after

Your best bet Phil is to car share with someone, it's £20 for an extra driver for the day

I may know of a car coming up for sale if you can get a few friends interested and share it. It's a trailer queen though, but ready to drift even has a Hydraulic handbrake

i'd love to but there are several problems with this!
- i cant tow a trailer on my licence
- i have 3 cars as it is!
- when sell the merc i will have 2 lude, one is a close to being a trailer queen, the other is lude, which are bum droppings at towing
- i have no friends
