Injectors

Post by Ash.Z » Thu Dec 06, 2012 7:58 pm

Can somebody please tell me how I can identify what size injectors these are? I presume they are standard 345cc, but can't see any clues. Also whilst on the subject is there any advantage in changing the injectors as I'm running an ATR intake and TB.
Thanks

Well they look like my 345cc's but hard to tell just from that pic bud.
They got any serial no's, etc?

What were they out of, do you know?

As for changing them for those mods, no need bud.

They came from a 4th gen import, but it had been mixed and matched before I got it, I've just check the old ECU in it and found it to be socketed and chipped, so I thought I would check these are standard. As for series numbers all I can find is a name - Keihin

You wont be able to use these in the ATR intake manifold without machining. The head shape is different on the Prelude injectors and doesn't fit.

Atr owners upgrade to s2000 injectors from what I've read on their forum?

/\ I assumed he knew the mods required for fitting an ATR manifold, just saying the size of injectors are fine for the mods, I thought it was a size related thing.

If it came from a 4th gen and was running a P13 (Chipped or not) then they should be 345cc peak and hold injectors. Keihin make them yes, but also the 5th gen ones too. I'm sure they're fine though. You'd know if you had the 290cc injectors installed in the old 4th gen.

My ATR intake came with a fuel rail and injectors attached, how can I identify those?

If you've got a standard fuel rail without modifications, you're running ATR injectors.

You need to give us more info and/or pics it's getting a bit confusing.

What's in your lude currently - I assume if it's the 4th gen, the standard 345cc's that you've pulled and taken a picture of?

I also assume you have bought an ATR mani, with this fuel rail and injectors already on it? And not fitted it yet?

Right if all of that is correct, then read up on what needs to be done to fit the ATR manifold. If you have the fuel rail and injectors, it's easier to use than the 4th gen Prelude's as the parts will then need modification. Check out a few of the builds on here who have fitted one.
