Why is it that DRL's on cars today, you only really see on the biggest / widest cars on UK roads.... being new LAND ROVER, AUDI, MERCEDES etc. Ironic.
If you can't see such a car in broad daylight (without DRL's), you shouldn't be driving in the first place.
There is a '5th Gen Prelude - walkaround' video on YouTube, with the car having an "angel eye" headlight conversion - this actually looked neat.
Plus on some 5th Gen Ludes I've seen small parking light lenses on the sides, in the front bumper. These being on, simulating DRLs (in a way), could also look nice?

Cheers Donald for your feedback on both my points.
Those side bumper lenses - would be nice to have clear / opaque lenses, then single crystal white DRL lights - could look smart. But anyway, as you say, not UK legal...
You do see Trucks / Vans with this type of thing, but understandably, different rules considering a different type of vehicle....

@nitin_s1 - Perhaps you could wire them up, with a Switch in the cabin?
So they can be easily activated while driving, then turned off for MOT or other purposes....
Hard to understand why they are illegal to use in the UK - They look inconspicuous and minimal - compared to the garish DRL's and aftermarket HID Kits you see on alot of cars now!

Last night I saw a SAAB at the lights that had BOTH front bumper AND rear bumper corner lights (that appeared permanently ON, lit up Amber).
Therefore if my (future) Prelude had the ones in the front bumper, I'd have no hesitation in activating them - if other manufacturers also "sport" them as a factory feature.
