More fluid being pushed through per cm of pedel travel and the feel associated with it. I didnt save the url but one page I was looking at was quoting numbers and came up with a number of 12% for incresed efficiency :? . The difference may be greater once I upgrade to big KSport calipers as they most likely have a greater fluid capacity.

Edit
Drive 4 fun wrote: You are talking moving the volume of a cylinder of brake fluid of 1" vs 15/16." That is about 6% larger diameter, and radius. Volume of a cylinder is proportional to (radius) squared. The increased volume of fluid moved for the same pedal travel is about 12%. All of that assumes that I can remember and do math correctly. Mostly it means less pedal travel. The brake booster contributes to much of the feel or force.

hows it working out with the atr front brakes we put on your lude a few weeks ago?- id heard there were would probably be some pedal travel as the capacity of the 2 small pistons is greater than that if the 1 piston prelude caliper - maybe the 1" resevoir would sort that out :? just a thought.

hmmm doesnt your lude have abs?

ATR calipers are awesome man. Definitely a good shout grabbing those.

There is more travel but almost in a good way, it's much more progressive now and less on/off. And yes, my car came with ABS, so I'll have the 1" cyl already :)

cant believe it was as easy putting them on as it was 8-)
