Golf VR's are hampered by their gearing (specifically a 3.3fd!)
Sound nice- but an ageing design now & only 2 valves per cylinder....
The Corrado is better- 2.9 190bhp instead of 2.8 174bhp- but in my previous VW owning experiences getting them far beyond 210hp is very costly indeed....
