Re: Merlin's 4G Track Lude
I have been lucky this year with the weather, hardly a frost let alone snow
Most of the major bits for the build are here now and plans are in place for me to get an LSD and final drive before it's put back together. Pics of some tasty parts will follow in the next few days
Another pic of the car from before:

Re: Merlin's 4G Track Lude
Yeah I have. Provided I can stick to my financial road map it's going to http://chizfab.com/ in October for a custom weld in cage. I know that is months away but with a build like this you have got to plan that jobby! Their price list for cages:4thgenphil wrote:have you looked into a cage yet BTW?

Patience!
I need the final bits for the gearbox before it can all go in, but old engine out is happening soon.

Shiny things
Here are some pics of the more interesting bits I have got recently to sling on the pile. I'm getting some pics of them now while they are still shiny
Competition Clutch Stage 5 clutch plate

I didn't think the ceramic pad would be so thin

The pressure plate

The 2nd hand Fidanza 8lb flywheel. The marks on the face are from the machine that refsurfaced it.

Mocal 16 row oil cooler. I got some nice braided hoses to go with it.

Mocal thermostatic oil sandwich plate

The loop off for the interior heater hose with the bulk head fitting from t7design (still needs jubilee clips fitted)
