Yeah when its all back together you guys will be coming along to the track :D

Been buying more tiny bits that would otherwise hold me up with the installation. 13mm 90 degree elbow heater hoses for the temporary interior hose setup, some heat wrap hight temp paint, VHT engine primer, VHT gold engine paint (for the H22a block 8-)), and a 1200W halogen heater to aid painting over the winter. I have 3-4 rocker covers to do and painting my engine. I know infrared heaters are the best for heating/hardening paint but at a minimum of £300 for a decent 2nd hand one this isnt feesable. £11 delivered for a halogen heater is much easier to swallow .

I didn't plan on having to buy heater hose elbows but I couldn't find elbow connectors that were temp rated any higher then 110C, as they all seem to be plastic or nylon, which is a bit too close for comfort. The heater hose elbows are rated at a much safer 260C. Then I'll use a copper barbed straight connector to join the hoses.

A pic of both of them together. The 4th is off the road for the winter now.

I like how you've dropped the passenger window a tad to make it look like you've got wind deflectors ;-)

Both look very complementary towards one-another :)

 3rdGenSteve was driving it for me. He left the window open (it was steaming up inside). I did think that looks like a deflector in the pic :D

Yeah this the first time with it over winter. Instead of buying a winter beater I'm doing the 4th gen up instead  If it snows that badly I'll just use the wife's Civic :D

Changed days! I bet a couple of years ago if someone had said you would be driving your 5G in winter & mothballing a 4G for summer use you would have said they were mad

I could never take the car off road for winter. It snows for like 3 days thats it.
Keep it clean to stop the salt.
