What size tires for 16" alloys ?

... I'm tempted to go for a smaller size on the front on the project for that very reason when the time comes

I need to put smaller wheels on mine again 205/55/16's are slowing it down a bit

Is it really that noticeable in every day driving?

Only asking cos I have some 16s but no tyres atm

if it's worth it might change from 17s...

Do you happen to have the figures for 17"?

If it's right in my head changing from say 215/45/17 to say 205/45/16 is a massive difference

it is a massive difference.

Your ride height will drop 16mm & the wheel circumference is 100mm smaller giving you a 7% difference in the speed & gearing.
