The engine was fully rebuilt, new rings, gaskets and etc... it had a custom intake manifold (much bigger, with no EGR, no IAB), DC sports short ram air intake, h22a7 head ported in/ex, polished, with oversized channels matching the intake, h22a7 cams, 390cc injectors, adjustable cam gears, custom exhaust manifold and custom exhaust 2.5" and of course it was tuned with p28 ecu - we tuned it on dyno to get best results while adjusting cam gears as well... all the intake and exhaust pipes were isolated with insulating wraps, to get the lowest temperatures under the hood that it was possiblenewkid wrote:What was all done to the old engine to give the 240

The setup was great... vtec was powerful, i really loved it, with r888 tires it did around 5.7sec 0-60mph so the car was fast for an N/A prelude.... but after 3 years of having a powerful NA setup i just decided i finally got bored with N/A and want to try sth different... and the engine now is much newer, with stunning low mileage at around 30k miles...

i have an onboard vid of how my vtec was running u can take a look if you want :
