Well, as you’ve found out EBC I wouldn’t rate too highly personally.

Popular and tested pads are:

- Ferrodo DS3000/2500’s
- Hawk HPS/HP+

I’m sure there are some others but I’ll wait for someone to chime in with experience with them.

^^ Those would be the only two I would touch. The DS2500's and Hawk HP+ are around £120 a set.

However, if your feeling flush a pair of Pagid pads http://www.brakes-pads-discs.co.uk/pagi ... elude.html

My choice however would be dependent on my other brake components, discs, hoses, and fluid. No point putting on nice expensive pads if everything else is jobby.

dont no if this makes any diffrence to pad choice but the track we use there are 2 very hard breaking pionts. inside say 1min 10 sec, ur breaking from 120 say down to 30 or 40.

What track do you drive?

At Knockhill I lap in 66s ish and there are also two big braking zones (100-65 & 100-20) and I dont fade with blank discs, Hawk HP+ pads, Super DOT 4 fluid, and braided hoses. Even using semi slicks I generally don't fade. BUT it all depends on how you drive, if you stamp on the pedal anything will overheat eventually.

A very big difference, especially when the brakes start to get hot. IMO look to these:

Pads
Hawk HP+ http://www.cambridgemotorsport.com/shop ... ct_id/8381
Ferrodo DS2500 http://www.hondaperformanceparts.co.uk/ ... iscs_FRONT

Discs
Blank discs Honda OEM, Brembo, EBC, Mintex etc... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-PRELUDE ... 3f16b4ff81

Fluid
Super DOT 4 Fluid http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-742-castrol ... fluid.aspx

Brake lines
Goodridge or HEL http://www.camskill.co.uk/m50b0s4072p54 ... i_and_Vtec
