I'm in the process of upgrading my ATR brakes soon.

A few more points on the ATR conversion, I have done this on my 5th gen. 4th Gen and 5th Gen have different hub sizes (ignoring the 4 stud/5stud issues) i.e. 4th gen disks re-drilled to 5 stud would still not fit on a 5th gen as the centre bore size is not the same. So:

5th Gen conversion you need full ATR set-up 300mm ATR disks ATR callipers and ATR carrier. I run this under 17" wheels no prob at all, but the guy before me 'shaved' my callipers to fit under standard prelude wheels I'm not sure how much he took off....so I dont know how tight they would be on 16" without modification.

4th Gen you need ATR callipers and carrier but an EP3 300mm disk, this can then be re-drilled for 4 stud and will fit on the hub of the 4th Gen

You can use ATR calipers on stock prelude carriers but you are limited to the 283mm discs. 8-)

What about EP3 caliper holders, are they the same as ATR? They should be more expensive and rear, but you never know :)

Earlier I thought 300mm is over kill and I got NSX (282mm) calipers. Now I am thinking about 300 mm again :) If Honda put 300/260 to ATR and CTR, so it is not over kill. Can anybody, using 300mm tell their experience? Has anybody considered extra weight and HP loss ? :)

Edit:
found couple opinions:

Ok, this was great info here Si.

Just checking though... Are there any 300mm discs you can buy pre-drilled for the lude?

Otherwise, any one got a view on mtec stuff?
