No, the ABS and 4WS sytems have their own control units.

It's OBD2

The change was in '96 I believe... The end of the 4th gen.

Also, I dont have a clue if this would work with an auto gearbox. You'd have to search some US forum I think.

Edit - I see your doing/planning an auto to manual swap.

Iv already got the manual box buddy... Will I need to do anything to the distributor?

Wouldn't have thought so...

Out of interest, although the basemap has been done on crome, i think im right in saying you aren't tied to that system. The ecu itself is plug & play- I.E a chip can be configured on eCtune, Crome, Neptune or whatever & this ecu will run it

Oh no, of course you can reconfigure it. The basemap is usually just a very simple map for basic mods to make sure you can run your car (ideally straight to the tuners or on to a trailer if you have more than the usual mods

), but it is obviously an additional cost to get it tuned, hence why I thought it'd be worth mentioning what the basemap is if it's known.

I bought it from Sspeedinnovations.com I can't see there being much/if any difference to other harnesses.
