Yes very very light and lucky to get all the clips and bits with it - the sideskirts are in very good condition. Let me know if you need any clips or brackets measured up - i wouldnt mind loaning them to you if you want to make a patern part.nucleustylzlude wrote:Did you take the suspension then, or ask if he'd split the motor/controllers?![]()
Nice hoarding of parts from him though. The brackets for the sides are all needed. I have been missing those long L shaped brackets from two sets of sides now. And yes they replace the stock plastic sills and save a shed load of weight. Bumper too is a heck of a lot lighter.
I had to make the sides brackets. you can get identical dimensioned brackets from B&Q in aluminium for around £10 each, then just cut the notches out for the OEM sill plastic clips. I've just finished mine.
The front bumper has not fared so well and is pretty beat up but it did come with the front mounting bar/plate and was a very good fit to the body despite all the damage to it. The mugen emblem on the front is offsetto the passenger side - most pics ive seen have the badge right in the middle.
I will be picking up the suspension in a week or so - plan is to take it for test drive and check its all working before disassembling it
