Got my alloy back today but the guy thinks the bolt holes might have got larger. rested 1 of my tuner nuts on it and it didnt fall though or anything. It rested where i thought it should. Should I dare try and put the wheel back on? Whats your guys advice?

Does the wheel centre bore fit snug on the hub? Are they OEM wheels?

If the wheel sits on the hub snuggly or you run spigot rings, then you wouldn't have an issue anyway, but just to be extra safe, put that rim on the back.

Considering that the nuts are tapered, it shoudn't make a difference that the holes are bigger, the wheel will still fit in the same place!!!

No it's happened when the wheel fell off.Sailor wrote:Why should the holes be bigger? Has 'the guy' used an aggressive blasting tool? If so, he might have caused more damage. Castings have skins ... weakened skins can be porous ... porous wheels lead to slow punctures.
