Might be the opposite problem - if that was the only thing drawing power from the generator, it might not have drawn enough load to excite the genny?

iv run fairy lights off a 4.5k gen before

no issues. there will be half a K of sound regardless so...

I'll bring the lights I brought last year and we can give it a try. I've also got an LED lead lamp, as well as a normal incandescent bulb lead light.

Can bring a table and small gas stove/gas bottle.

Of course, I'll have the projector!

Thanks Garry, yes please bring all of the above, especially a table as that's one thing we don't have!
