I have High comp ratio as well. But it's a leak in the down pipe that's reducing the MPG.

It's all about the M2B4 for cruising, nice long (for a prelude) 5th gear

For cruising it's actually all about the M2K4 I think you'll find

Just worked out my MPG from Sunday's fun and frolics at Marham and it came to......

10.7MPG!

I obviously wasn't trying hard enough.

I know exactly what you feel Merlin, although I may be on for a record this tank... Have 1/4 left and I've done 270miles, normally by now I'd be expecting the red light to come on.

first 6 months of lude ownership i averaged 14mpg combined

now in the S i can get as many as 400 miles out of a tank but i have rinced through a tank in 250 before.

the S will make you want to go faster. just buy a normal lude if you want to cruise. leave the spec'd up ones to the serious drivers imo.

All true. Except that I still get about 400 to a tank in mine, when I need to of course
