Hm, I've never though of that. I suppose everyone dislikes it *because* of how it isn't symmetrical

The UKDM rear fog in the bumper sucks, just looks like an after thought. Most JDM ludes Just convert the drivers side (UK) reverse lamp with a Red LED bulb to make it a fog light and that's enough to make it pass our MOT (Ministry Of Transport) requirements (They also need a switch that illuminates when switched on inside the cabin, which isn't present in JDM ludes)

New parts! Exhaust and wheels

Post by JayJay » Fri Feb 10, 2012 10:36 am

Got some new parts :)

Unfortunately the silenced decat and the center pipe silencer have some dents, but it hasn't affected the pipe inside (see the last 2 pics) so it's all good :) No doubt they'd get damaged on my car anyway

It's a Tanabe L/M/T AX header and downpipe and a Blueflame silenced decat and catback :) Finally a decent exhaust system on my car! Also double happy it's a twin-pipe bacbox as opposed to a massive oval or circle.

Just ordered some heatwrap as well so fingers crossed I'll get it all fitted in a week or two. Need to wait for a weekend where it isn't pouring with rain :(

From the same guy I also bought some 17" Oz Superleggers (5 to be exact  ) but they need a bit of a refurb so I'll be getting those done slowly one at a time over the next few months. I'll have to get some pictures of those tonight/tomorrow.

Nice pickup - not too many of those manifolds around, pretty distinctive with that engine flange piece - funky!

Wait till you get that on, as Nath says - a world of difference.

That flexy might need some attention at some point in the future.

Yeah the flexy is looking a bit worse for wear, may need to get it cut out and replaced at some point

I never knew Tanabe did manifolds, impossible to get any information on it either, all I can find is For Sale threads on them

I'd like to test fit it all together one night, make sure I can get the slip-joins together right.
