[quote="stal1878"]hey hey I have had 2 BMWs!

sorry NOT!!!
bemmer drivers are the worst on the road! they are the only drivers i have ever seen tailgating at 90 mph flashing there lights and sounding their horn to force anyone out of their way ;)
that is nasty driving and what police are looking for! you can be fast and safe and police will will turn a blind eye if they know you are in control, and a quick blast between 2 cameras on the motoway won't get much of a look but BMW's and Golf GTI's just shove their foot down hard and don't take it off for anything till their junction

Gorgon wrote:So you fitted an LSD box and you got better MPG? Well this is excellent news. The handbrake found my secret stash of parts earlier and has apparently banned me from buying anything else. Well this is the perfect excuse! I need LSD to make it more economical.
as said m8 my oem clutch was slipping which would not have helped ;) but the old box did rev higher at all speeds to this one, so have noted a much higher mpg.

This BMW and Audi driver thing is a load of crap tbh.

Anyone can drive any car and be a prick.
I am sure some people saw you testing out your new lsd and though you were a nob, no matter that you thought you were safe.
There is alot of issues between owners of different brands and its unnecessary.
Just go by what you like and personal experience of cars.

Alot of people don't like Jap cars because the interiors suck, but I don't mind it.
I like BMWs because: RWD, Timing Chain and they have a generally good build quality.

How many of you have driven a bimmer and what did you think?

My opinion comes from 20 years experience of commuting on the M25.
They NEVER use their indicators. WTF is that all about? :?

I would never drive a BMW. Far too common. :poke:

Regardless of how good a driver someone thinks they are, 130+mph could see up to a 12 month ban and community service. If the judge was making an example of dangerous driving, that could potentially even mean custodial.

No disrespect as we all drive old cars, but a judge would take very dim Gideon a 20 year old car with a 20 year old brake system etc.

It think you missed my point earlier. It's one thing doing it, but the point I was making that it is madness to openly admit to committing a serious motoring offence on a public forum which the police have access to. You could end up facing prosecution just because of what you have posted.

I'll have to find a link to my old MaxP mate N15 (Paul something) who posted pics of the crash he had on a straight road in his Skyline, speeding and no seatbelt. He made it to tv as the police were looking for him following his online confession!
