Well thought i would start my profile so here goes
Here it is now and below is my story
Image
I got my new lude my 2nd one now by swapping my work van that i had owned for the past 4 years and done plenty of work too
ImageImage
In 2002 i owned my first lude a 2.3 uk manual i won it on ebay for 1600 drove to london to get it after never even seeing one in the flesh before, i then set about turning it into my first heavily modded car.I was young then and was inspired by fast and furious if you cant guess mine was the white and black oneImage
But now here is my new project she needs a fair bit of work on the bodywork rear arches need doing tailgate needs a repray after a terrible job by previous owners also got a bad bit of rust on the windscreen pillar, but doing plenty of valeting for used car dealers i know a few bodyshops and welders :D
So here are the pics of my 1st Jap 2.2 VTEC already removed the Hiro spoiler as i didnt like it put jdm one back on.

thsi week i have bought a few new bits spent £200 without the mrs knowing :o
picked up a set of 17" wheels today off ebay for £30 from a 180sx pics up tommorrow im gonna respray them before fitting, im not a fan of the 18s on it now and it feels a bit boaty in the corners, new cam cover arrriving tommorrow hopefully and some carbon wrap also, so i will update again very soon, im going for a more subtle approach this time round.

Well here are my new goodies the cam cover arrived this morning courtesy of Ludey on PUK
Image
The whels are in better condition than i was expecting for £30 only the polished lip has suffered on them really but im gonna rub the whole wheel down and respray them in dark grey not sure exactly what colour yet or weather to keep a silver lip or not suggestions welcome,
I wanted to see how they looked on the car so jacked her up tried them on perfect fir the only problem is i need some skinny nuts as the shaft on the wheels are too small, off to Projex tomorrow morning then maybe order some lowering springs while im there.
here are some pics of the wheels in place

I also received my carbon fibre vynl wrap to redo the roof and sunroof as the sunroof has rusted as usual was gonna sand it back, seal it then put the wrap on also going to do the petrol cap as well.
Installed my amp wiring kit today just got to build box now to house my 10" sub that will fit in the driver side of the boot under the jack so i wont loose to much space.

Wheels look good mate and a bargain at twice the price! :D I assume you didn't get centre caps with them for that price. Definitely need to keep your eye out for some ;-)
