I've seen an Acura badged Prelude before, back in 2005. It also had Acura badges on the alloys, completely genuine. The seller was also confused as I as to why. I'm guessing the bodies were destined for the US but were mated to a Japan chassis to make up for a shortfall in the supply & demand in Japan.

But probably just a mistake at the factory

not sure, the merc was being daft on fuel, like worse than a prelude, but now i have serviced her she's returning 45mpg easily :? over 50 on a run, so its hard to sell up atm, when i get an lpg kit together then i will do the big swap ;)

and yes they do mate, make the car look 100 times better 8-)
