Go for it. Worse case scenario you don't like them but have an ideal set of wheels for winter use

That's because the 5G without a lip. If it had a lip and the angle of the photo was different, it would have looked nice. Not having a front lip makes the 5G look poop.Gorgon wrote:Hope you can make it workI quite like the differences in taste on here... Nitin's pic convinced me they look horrendous.

Yeah I agree with that (the lip thing)... but still... I think even if they were of a decent offset...nitin_s1 wrote:That's because the 5G without a lip. At £46 for the set, I want some!craig_jdm wrote:yeh but wheels only £46 new for the set tyres i canget cheap plus if youd seen the alloys that are on it now if it works id keep it for a while too if it doesnt look great prob still better than the current
I could paint them yellow and make it look like I'm running on a set of spacesavers ....
.... or I could use 'em for winter and flog my standard 5G wheels.

Yeah that's not the best pic of steelies on a 5th, missing lip aside (I can't find any pics at the moment though). But it's only going to look better than that if Craig does it himself, so if he's happy with how that one looks then definitely go for it!Gorgon wrote:Hope you can make it workI quite like the differences in taste on here... But before you get those specific steelies, find out what the width and offset is. You don't want them lost in the arches and you obviously don't want them sticking out too far either.
