So going to be giving the lude a full service . Oil , oil filter , plugs , leads , fuel filter.
Is it worth doing the lamba sensor aswell . It doesn't bring up any codes or anything but it's done 113000 miles so is pretty old . Just wondered if it worth changing. Cheers Jon

Do the gearbox oil too, if you've not recently done it.

Coolant, power steering fluid, gearbox oil, brake & clutch fluid?The oxygen sensor in most Honda's has a design life of approx. 8 years.
Although your O2 sensor may not have failed completely, they start to become less efficient with age.
They become "lazy" and do not respond as quickly as when new, this causes rough running and poor fuel economy.
They can also shorten the life of your catalytic converter, which is another expensive item to replace.
So if your Prelude hasn't had a replacement oxygen sensor yet, get one.
Although you can find "generic" sensors much cheaper that do the job, they do not necessarily work as efficiently as the OEM one.

Yeah I done the gearbox oil a couple weeks ago as I had to do some seals on it . Don't have power steering so can't check that lol. Cheers Jon

Can we do a nice list of things (with item recommendations/amounts?) because I'm due an oil change and might as well do the other stuff while I'm at it.
Engine oil (5L?)
Gearbox oil (2L?)
Oil filter
Fuel filter
Brake/clutch fluid (did that in Dec with new brakes though so should be good for a while
)
Coolant
PS fluid
O2 sensor
Spark plugs
Leads
Dizzy cap (how essential is this/does it improve much)
Rotor arm (I don't even know what this is
)
Which ones of these should I only use Honda stuff for?
Lots of noob questions for a wizard to answer for me pretty please!
Sorry to butt into your thread BTW, seemed logical to ask here as opposed to making another topic about essentially the same thing
