People assume that my username has something to do with the car (since it's black), but it's actually a reference to "shadow people" and how (when I used to do security) I'd always appear in the nick of time and then disappear again. -stealthy-
True story.
I'm also a huge fan of the paranormal. Lived in two haunted houses, and have visited numerous haunted sites locally. I seem to be a bit of a magnet for the "other side" as even when I'm in seemingly benign places, weird stuff tends to happen. Of course, working in security for many years, I had the opportunity to hang out in some unusual places at unusual times. Museums, cemeteries, factories, apartment complexes, hotels, hospitals/morgues, warehouses, shopping malls/stores.
I have personally witnessed orbs, mists (white, gray-ish, and red), full apparitions, EVPs and audible voices, touching/pulling/tugging, objects being moved (happens more often than I'd like), smells (grandmother's perfume on command at her old house). I have witnessed pets reacting with unseen entities, and, encountered (from a distance thankfully) two shadow/stick figures. Last summer there was an unnerving experience of three sharp, heavy knocks on the wall/ceiling in my house. I'm not happy with the prospect of what that was signifying.
On the other end of the spectrum, I have observed three UFO's since 1996 (I see lots of unidentifiable lights and objects in the sky but I know of three that weren't satellites, aircraft, or, celestial events simply because of how they moved), and at least one childhood encounter with something I'm fairly certain was not terrestrial. I'm curious about it, but I have read where people do more damage than good by retrieving memories like that, so I'm not going there.
I've heard a lot about the London Underground being quite the hot spot for paranormal activity. I'd love to give that a shot sometime, or make a trek up to Greyfriars and visit George Mackenzie.
