Yeah - i'm pretty much set on a gloss anthracite finish (subject to last minute mind changing)
Looking good Skinny - what wheels are those?

LO
Your alloys look great
Noticed you still have your rubber rear arch trims fitted , i would take them off as they are a moisture / rust trap , they only pull off
I removed mine last year when i had my Lude undersealed.
Most peops do take them off
Cheers for posting

Those are pretty sweet - what are they? Not in the market for wheels now, but i'd like to to see how they look on a 'lude right enoughShiny wrote:I've seen these up for sale on an Accord forum, they would look sweet on a blue Prelude...

Ahaa - I thought they looked familiar, I like those despite not being generally a fan of 6 spokes on 'ludes, sweet car in general infact!
I was set for going with a finish similar to those at the top of the page, without the blue highlights, until I seen a new Civic with these on the other day:

...then I decided I really liked the dark-silver-metallic-gloss type finish on them & went for the colour I ended up with

Re. the rear arch rubbers - the bodyshop that painted my lip advised to take them off too, there'd been a tiny bit of surfact rust on the bottom of the arches & the guy basically polished it off with G3 compound or something & told me to bin them & treat the edges of the metal before it got any worse, hopefully i'll catch it & it won't get worse anytime soon - i'll get them cleaned & sealed when my mate's doing the rear brakes next week

Righty - as a final update to this thread i've taken a few pics with an actual camera, still not great compared to some of the pics on here, however a bored girlfriend & hungry dog meant time was of the essence!
The only bits that aren't 100% are the plastic surrounds of the "H" logo on the centre-caps, the powdercoating guy said they just would not accept paint without serious time & effort spent sanding & prepping the surface as it's begun to deteriorate slightly & this would be a major ball-ache (i'll probably go over them with gloss black just to tidy up, or even find some ATR ones & get them painted to match) - otherwise it's all good so far as I can see
No taking the body lemonade out of the dog - he belongs to my girlfriend & is much more masculine in person
