you do know to run the engine for a few mins after putting in fresh oil because the oil filter is dry?

then stop engine and check level again

both my car takes bang on 5 litres and mobil 1 is a rip off

it is SL grade oil.. local auto shops do SL grade oil for 15 quid.

there is no difference except the price you pay and what the labels advertise,

10w40 is 10w40

check the API mark for the quality dont get skanked by the shops

most people fill the filter with fresh oil before fitting it to the car

Phil, The pressure gauge in the car which i got paw to install.

Ziyaan, would you put asda oil in your motor if youd spent 4k on it? The mobil1 was 40 quid for 5L whichisnt that bad in my eyes

Didnt know about the filter thing but havent changed it so still has oil in, i just took the oil out to see how much was in there using a sump pump.

I know! Twas a fair size build, a decnet chunk of that was on parts.

The gauge is pluged in where the pressure sensor that controlled the oil light was. Im pretty sure its working properly as the readings are fine before i push the engine hard which is what makes me think the oil could be loosing its edge as a couple weeks ago i didnt have this problem.
