Not sure mate, they must be cos mine just got tested with them fitted. I think it comes down to how blue they are. Mine emit white light, just on the limit before blue.littlefeller wrote:no hadnt seen them before, how does hid stand with the new mot rules? are they actully legal

I bought it like that. To be fair they aren't that bad, I've stood in front of the car with the lights on and wasn't blinded or anything.
