website says the dyno is only 2WD (i'm just assuming all scoobys are 4wd)
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

It might be interesting to see what the Euro R produces. It's almost certain to be slightly disappointing, but I might learn something.
The website doesn't say a lot about the process itself. I'm guessing that it's simply measurement and any skilled tweaking would be extra.

it's just a printout normally, you sometimes get 2 runs back to back, so not really any tinkering time really.
drive car onto dyno, they strap it down, check the oil, ask you if the car is going to blow up, stick some fans in front of the rad, hook up a probe to the ht lead , warm it up a little bit, then put it in 4th and hit the limiter whilst everyone looks on and laughs, then coast down to get the gearbox drag.

Yep, no tuning involved, this is just a straight power run for jobbies and giggles/bragging rights.Sailor wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2024 9:42 pmIt might be interesting to see what the Euro R produces. It's almost certain to be slightly disappointing, but I might learn something.

I'll put a date out to get this moving,
Saturday the 25th May.
We could all meet up beforehand, for breakfast and mosey on down for about 10ish in the morning.
Looking a the website, there's no need to prebook, though I'll drop them a message in the next few days just to get a feel for availability.
