We'll make a start on the wheels next week?
Yeah man, plan! I'm away this coming weekend, but we'll need to set a date and bash on. I think they're still stashed in Steve's landy :?
They are going up to my dads on Wednesday night, Nick is dropping a load of Lude bits off at the same time.
Balls! That's the one night I actually have some thing on this week, could have fired through :(

Neutons seem great so far - grippy, even this morning with the light rain making the roads seem a bit greasy. They're quiet too, and have the rim protection sidewalls (which is nice). I think the NT8000's replaced the NT5000's in the lineup - certainly the NT5000's aren't advertised atm.

MTF and Wheels

Post by indigolemon » Mon Jun 18, 2012 10:18 am

Wee update. Spent Saturday with Vanzep, Merlin and 3rdGenSteve working on our cars. Unfortunately rain stopped play and we never got as far as working on Nick(Vanzep)'s car. Happily for me, I was up first and and now sporting Torco MTF in my gearbox. Very impressed so far, much smoother from cold and the shift feels so much nicer - would recommend it :)

Sunday morning/afternoon was spent at Merlin's Dads house, where myself, Merlin and 3rdGenSteve ghetto refurbed some new wheels for my lude to sit on. Finished pictures are still to come, but here's some 'in progress' shots at the primer stage:

They sure did, all neatly stored at the in-laws atm, much cardboard and bubble wrap too.
