Great write up as always though Rob, although I skipped the AN- NPT explainations... Already been there ;-) And I've got nearly all those AN- fittings and a few others from Torque-UK saved in my ebay watchlist waiting for when I'm ready to place my order to ;-) How much did your lot come too?

Torques UK had the most range of products I could find in the stealth black look and are hard to beat on price. Not cheap though, that little lot including delivery was about £80! :shock:

Missus rolled her eyes as another package got delivered, if only she knew! :lol:

Quite a few more updates to come - felt the need to get this thread up to date now. Let people see why I'm taking so damn long to get this thing fitted! :roll:

Good stuff! Watch out for the NPT thread if you get anything from the UK to fit it as we use the BSP system. The threads will 'fit' together but they'll never seal as the angles on the thread faces are different ;)

That's what I found too. My lot comes in at around £100 when I calculated last :roll: ... but then I found another specialist site, where if I recall correctly it all came in at around about £400 instead :shock: As you said though Torque-UK's quality doesn't come across as being at all cheap ;-)

Oh and I may have to borrow your pipe cutting tool at some point :P ;-)

Ha ha, I have the same thing, about 5-10 packages a week, I've started to have stuff sent to a second address as it was getting ridiculous.

A1ex: No worries, I know about BSP too. The gauge and adaptor to the line are 100% both 1/8NPT. I will probably add a cruch washer here too to avoid leaks. I would normally add teflon tape to NPT threads but the fuel will eat into it from what I've read or worse a small bit breaking up and clogging something up, like an injector! :shock:

Rob (& vtecmec): Yeah the parcel thing is a joke over the last year or so for this build. I got most things delivered to work, but with working away quite a bit recently, I've had to bite the bullet and deliver to the house. Bring on the moan! She too has got to the point of not caring, but just has a hissy fit when they start to accumalate in the house! :lol:

Nathan: Yep, I priced up from another well known manufacturer and it was a hell of alot more. The Torques stuff is real nice quality.

As for the pipe cutter, they're only a couple of quid on ebay: Bargain

Cheap as chips!

Wondered this myself the other day when Phil PM'd me and found this page from an old member who was on PUK (Yellalude): http://www.preludepower.com/forums/show ... p?t=263138

So assuming that's right: Front 12.1kg / Rear 6.2kg
It may say somewhere in the documentation, I'll check the box just in case.

I've used it on quite a few brake pipes now and it does the job fine. Just need to remove the pushed in cut edge a little. Needle files are good for brake pipes, but only as you can blow them through after to get rid of any debris. The supply line can't be blown through, is vertical, so likely to fall into the pipe and most of all: Fuel pipe + abrasive file = combustion!
I'm sure a sharp stanley knife and some fiddling will be fine.
