oh and wide arches would look cool on yours
I prefer the last one too... It's the opposite contrast to the normal :)

I've got an idea for the paint already. It's VHT Nu-Cast Iron SP997 and does have a metallic shiny to it...

And wide arches are already on the list ;-) Just want to sort the rust first :)

Grey centers man, definite ftw there!!! I can't really see the colour you're thinking of, but I'm sure it'll look great :D

And what do you mean by "shot ruined"?? Cheeky bugger!!

It's weird though, cos my car looks shorter than yours with the 17" wheels on there.

New Front Lip Trial Fitted

Post by NafemanNathan » Sun Jun 24, 2012 10:56 pm

Well as you could probably guess there aren't many options when it comes to aftermarket body parts for a 3rd gen accord (Not decent ones anyway), but after a bit of research I found a number of options for a front lip from other brands of cars. Sadly the majority of them are either not really available in this country or are just plan rare, but there was one option that was readily available on ebay and most importantly... Cheap! :D (£16.50 delivered to be precise and that's a regular BNWT price! )

It arrived the other day, so I trial fitted it on my spare bumper...

The fit isn't perfect (I knew it wouldn't be). It falls slightly short at the sides, but it isn't a big deal... I intentially bought this to mod to actually look a fair bit different to how it currently looks and make it a bit more "Honda". And besides it wouldn't last too long as it is at the minute anyway, as it's turned out to be a fair bit deeper than I imagined, and, well...

That lip looks good.

I'm guessing your car is on a slope or something there, as I know I've done a lower drop than you have, unless you've dropped yours more recently? That's about the height I want mine to ride at constantly :D

That's the one Sam! There are two options of Golf lips, but I thought this one worked better.

And yes Dom... My drive slopes down to the house, but right near the house it gets steeper just before it levels out. I need to feather the slope out more as I'll have the same issue if I refit my Azect lip on the daily lude as well and I imagine it'll be the same case with the Wings West lip on the project too lol.
