When the ECU is mapped, I'll have a printout of all the figures, which is nice

Can you believe In 10 years I've never dyno'd my car

Good idea. I bought my S300 from him, but already had a P28. Having since found out PAW don't like to do the installations into ECU's themselves I'm now considering sending both bit back to Scott to get the S300 installed.bennyboy wrote:Got the whole lot from him Nathan, looked at picking up another ecu, but by the time I'd got it, sent it etc, it wouldn't have saved me a great deal, so thought better to have it all from him in case of any issues.NafemanNathan wrote:Scott's great isn't he?!bennyboy wrote:And yes, the Haribo came with it, but I have no idea what they plug into...

Did you get the ECU from him as well, or had you sent him one you already had?

I thought you were fairly handy with a soldering iron Nafe? Not tempted to do it yourself? If youve got the right tools (desolder pump etc) I'd imagine it's not toooooooo difficult? I hear you though, TBH it's got to the point where I'm more concerned with everything going smoothly, hence letting someone else worry about itNafemanNathan wrote:Good idea. Only ever soldered one thing before and that was splicing the injectors harness together. That was straight forward. When it comes to the ECU though I need to know it's done right, as what with removing so much from the harness as I have done, I need to make ruling out probable causes if it doesn't work easy lol.bennyboy wrote:I thought you were fairly handy with a soldering iron Nafe? EDIT: That's a lie, I re-soldered the mains relay on my Aerodeck, but again... That's not an ECU

Another little update.
This splendid work of art arrived today:

Another Solid Fabrications work of art, Alan has done a great job.
Also, more pics in the first post (Finally..), actually I'll post them here too.

It's honesty only had a basic wash, so there's a good few streaks and marks everywhere, but figured I won't be seeing it for a little while as it's off to Rich tomorrow for the new engine etc
Hope you like
