I received a rough quote of about 40-45 EUR per piece, they say that they cannot say more without getting a sample in their hands.

They offer 1 year warranty on their parts, and also have their parts installed on local rally competition cars so quality shouldn't be a problem

Anzezaf, That sounds great, I'll get on with trying to get my hands on one, from a breaker. I'd struggle to go without the car for a period of time. Having said that if it gets worse I might not have choice. Thanks again, I'll be in touch.

Just a quick update for anyone with a similar problem reading this. The noise got beyond a joke, so I sought a second opinion. At which point I was advised to replace the drop links as they were past their best and making some noise also. This does seem to have killed the majority of noise, although I can still here them (track rod ends) at times.

I've tried lots of suppliers for the track rod ends and contacted several people breaking preludes, without any joy so far. So if you have one get in touch.

I can see there are mixed reports about the vectra track rod ends but I used them and they've been fine for me. Different length though so you have to measure overall length before fitting, you can't just count the threads. Here's the vauxhall part number: 93186321

Guys while i was looking for other stuff i noticed that Amayama have these listed as available, they might not as I've ordered parts from their site before that were available but then the order came back as unavailable so i got a refund, has anyone actually tried putting an order in?

I've only just caught on about this, mainly because I've just had an MOT and it came up again! lol I've ordered mine and they've taken the payment, just waiting for them to be shipped now. I'd definitely advise anybody wanting to keep their prelude long term to pick some up while they can. I'll post on this thread when they arrive etc.

Fingers crossed they dont cancel the order because its isnt available at the supplier, that happened to me on some other parts... Its a bit odd that it wasnt available but now it is, i wonder if Honda have started reproducing them, i know they started reproducing some parts for the S2000 but i couldn't find any information if that was the case with the Prelude.

But yeah if they have stock i'd say anyone with 4WS should just get on it and order the ends just in case.

Now if they would just re-stock the high pressure power steering hose and gearbox oil cooler lines that would be lovely
