IACV Valve 4th Gen H22A

Good afternoon all,

I am in desperate need of some help please.

My prelude is running terrible, bouncing around in low revs with inconsistent idle sometimes.

I have removed, cleaned and refitted my IACV Valve, EGR Valve, bled the coolant, FITV valve, PCV Valve and nothing seems to work. She drives fine at revs over 1500, but on low revs just bouncy and Jerky when pulling off.

Do I need to completely replace the IACV valve, try changing the gasket, does anyone know where I could get these from please?

Any help would be greatly received.

Unplug the IACV and try to adjust the idle speed down to 550rpm. If you cant get the revs that low, you have an air leak somewhere.

ive been through a couple of FITV valves over the years, could be faulty/broken.

likely also an air leak as Mec says, ive had a number of these plus an inlet manifold gasket fail on me

You're sure it's IACV?
I had similar issues with idle and regular driving/holding constant RPMs, caused by TPS. Did you try to remove the connector from it and try it running w/o it?
