Petrol prices dropping

Post by Gayno » Thu May 10, 2012 4:37 pm

Anyone else noticed this?

Last week at Asda by me unleaded was 138.7, at the weekend it was 136.7 and today it's 134.7

We can only hold out hope that it keeps going!

Bollocks, all we have here are Manx Petroleum (basically Shell) and Total. So the prices are going to be stuck up at £1.55 or whatever it is now.

Manky Petroleum? Is this recycled scrapyard petrol then?

No it's all from Shell, but it's not branded. The higher octane stuff is Shells good high octane petrol, but it's not called that on the pumps.

As they seem to do once a year! Ah well, dropping just in time for show season, will be back up by winter, but by then the lude will be off the road again.

I did notice it was getting a bit cheaper round here too
