M2P4 gearbox sticks in 5th gear..

Just gone to strip the surround off, all looks pretty standard to me but thought i'd share just in case, as I've never really ventured underneath the gear trim apart from to clean it.

Also recorded a video of changing gears with the clutch in and engine off.

Hey Toby, really sorry to hear your having issues with my old gearbox. I removed it out of my black daily Prelude which I had for 5/6 years. I didnt have these issues upon removal but about a year beforehand, it did get stuck in 5th gear whilst driving. After I stalled the car, it came out of gear and then I couldn't select 1/2nd gear. Checked in the hood and I had snapped my gear linkage cables. Managed to source another set and it was fine after that. If you continue to experience issues with the box itself buddy then drop me a message and well sort it out, I'll send you watsap now aswell dude.

The shifter looks standard/ok condition, as you say.
Needs a 5g owner to confirm though... Not sure the throw doesn't look a bit short - is it? Or is that full throw?

Hi mate, the throw is pretty long in person to be honest!
