Screen is here and assembled, not fitted to the car yet (weather is horrible!). Sorry for the bad pictures, the cameras great when the light is ok, but its just a dim interior light:

Used a funny looking bracket (for holding paintings?) as it fitted perfectly to hold the screen in place against the console.

I also cut up an old gearstick gaiter, stapled it into a cylinder and stuffed the ends with little bits of leather to pad it out. This was placed on either end of the screen, it wasn't a perfect fit in the console so it needed something and the leather works quite well I think.

Took a picture of the back where they have dissassembled the original screen and fitted it to the bracket. Nice job, highly recommend it for any CarPC installation

Looks like a nice tidy fit.

Sometimes these screen installs look a bit bodged.

Yeah my current setup is very bodged! Didnt get a chance to finish it and its been sitting as it is for a while waiting to get this screen. If you look at the link its a special screen made up to fit in the radio area.

I dont want to use fibreglass or a filler of some kind to get the screen flush with the rest of the console as that means I can't remove it for any work, but I think the leather/vinyl padding on the sides works quite well, especially if its flush with the side of the console instead of jutting out.

I'll get some better pics when its fitted
