Its got a bit of colour after 50 miles

Yeah it does, you need to spray the spark plug cover now

nitin - i have another fully refurbed blue rocker cover for sale- that one has been on the car since i had the timing belt done - which was about 18 months ago

thanks for the kind comments on the Tri-Y - i havent had it in vtec yet but it does make it sound like a far bigger engine with a pronounced growl at low rpm
only problem is ive already managed to lose one of the u clamps on the connection between the decat and the centre so had to nip out to the motorfactors and get a new one which i hope to fit later on.
will take it out for a run after that and give it some beans.

ive also reset the ecu as im getting a whiff of unburnt vpower - you were right about that Merlin

however i have got a untested chipped P13tcs ecu which i can try out until i get one of Robs Spoon V2 chips for the stock ecu....

I have two Rocker covers already, one which I want to respray yellow to match the cars body colour. Blue might be a good shout though as it goes with the 'Spoon' theme

Lude failed its MOT - upper front wishbone ball joint has gone.

I have a new arm ordered up so hope to get it back in middle of next week for a retest.

MOT now passed with no advisories

new parts fitted: passenger side upper wishbone and driver side steering rack gaiter
no mention of the tri-y so happy days
