Uprated Springs, Eibach etc...

They sent the wrong ones completely different style the rears are same for 4 an 5th Gen an they still sent wrong ones

Can't be my problem then as my rear shocks fitted ok.....

Mine were less of a drop than yours.
I didn't fit them myself

Yeah this sounds very odd... Plenty of guys on here in the past have used eibach's on standard shocks without any problems.

It's entirely possible that the 4g and 5g are slightly different spring lengths from them - they might be slightly different spring rates.

Are they definitely genuine Eibach springs? Lots of fakes around of everything it would seem :/

This is quite puzzling

The only thing i can add is that my experience of eibach springs has been with 2nd hand sets all fitted to koni sport shocks.
One thing worth noting is the perch height can be set at different levels on the konis so possible they could have been set lower than oem giving more room for the springs to be fitted. I did have to use spring compressors on the rears but just body weight on the fronts.
I guess it would be useful to hear from anyone who has fitted them to standard shocks.

Could it be that your shocks are knackered? How many shocks did you try the springs on?
Do they compress/ move ok?

Shocks were brand new, KYB, as were the top mounts and bottom arms.
