Ahh well it is up for £6k now, and I think that's what it bid up to on eBay. I wasn't aware of the £7k figure.

Type S on Ebay
We’re about 600-650 apart so I’ve left it for now.
I’m sure it’s a lovely car, there’s just a limit to what I’d pay for it. He knows where I am if he changes his mind!

As you are only 600 apart it might be worth going to see it in the flesh to see if it is worth the money. Also, with you there, cash in hand so to speak, the seller might be tempted to lower the price a bit more. On the flip side, pictures can hide a lot, a car that looks immaculate in pictures can be rough in the flesh, I have seen it many times. That is why, even when buying my Type S from Torque GT I had to see the car in the flesh before sealing the deal.texasjohn74 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2019 7:21 amWe’re about 600-650 apart so I’ve left it for now.

That's crap quality repair, not what you would expect from a professional bodyshop on a nearly new car, so I'd suspect not done by the main dealer. Perhaps an ex lease car that was bodged up by the driver before handback?Scott560 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2019 8:04 pmIssues I found after a 20minute quick look - was too angry to look any further....
Missing slam panel plastic rivet.
missing tyre pressure sticker on b pillar.
Filler on the door catch.
B pillar resprayed (body cavity sticker under paint unlike rest of car).
Over spray on the A pillar and windscreen surround (tiny bit).
Coolant marks on bonnet liner.
Cracked seam weld on the driver door, rusting out.
Rear door rain seal badly fitted, presume it's been screwed on from inside, eaten into paint and rusting out on door edge (white car, gonna look shyte in a year or 2).
Bonnet needed a bit of a slam to shut.
Bonnet and bumper not lining up too good.
They didn't admit anything but didn't dispute anything either.
As you say, the Honda dealer should have definitely found all those issues though and either rectified them or not traded the car as an approved Honda used car (that has swift trade/auction sale written all over it).
