Any ideas or recommendations for places that can refurb the type s gearknob I bought? I have tried autoglym leather cleaner but I didn't expect any improvement and it didn't give me any!

A company such as this may help.
I used them, (or might have used a similar company), to repaint the leather on the steering wheel and spruce up the seats.
Not necessarily a cheap option though.

Hi,
I've just had my steering wheel re-trimmed, and he did a cracking job. Jason Wright of JW Auto Trim 07906 243296, jwautotrim@gmail.com www.autotrim.com
I would have had this re- trimmed myself, but having a Blox one, wasn't looking to change it back.

@nalla Thanks for that, I have just sent them an e-mail. The quotes I have been getting back so far from other companies are quite eye watering. Starting to wish I had just gone aftermarket with the gearknob.

That's annoying - did he say why?
You could potentially buy some black leather off ebay and try making a replacement yourself, with the original as pattern - @Vtecmec has done stuff like that before (seats, iirc)

No good with that sort of thing, I am sure I can find some company to do it, I just need to spend some more time finding some
