didn't you sell your 3rd gen?

I wanted £1000 for it. Didn't even get £500 in the end. No one wanted it despite being good condition b20a7 4ws manual and white with leather.

Do you know what cavity wax product they used?
I tend to drench the seam itself much than that, by using something much more runny (Dinitrol 3125) and worry less about the inside of the panels themselves, but it looks like they've got a decent enough amount right down into the seam too, so all's well

No I am not sure of the name, they said they always use the same stuff and it has served them well over the years. They regularly rebuild the arches on Integra's, Preludes and S2000's and then protect it with this stuff afterwards.

Ok no worries, was just curious what it was, because I can't recall a white cavity wax in particular (they're usually black/brown/cream in colour)

Torque gt use both clear runny dinitrol and the harder black dinitrol.

Wasn't done at Torque GT though

I guess TGT must be using Dinitrol 1000 (clear/cream) and 4941 (the black stuff).
I use 3125 (brown) in cavities and 4941 (black) as underseal. 3125 is more suited to cars that aren't new tbh and particularly when warm, it runs beautifully in between panels in seams

So, this weekend just gone was lovely weather wise so I decided I should give the Type S a full detail. I washed the car using snow foam and then the usual 2 bucket method. I then clayed the car using a clay mitt, followed by a polish with autoglymn SRP using my DA, followed by a layer of collonite wax.

I also fitted new numberplates as the ones Torque GT provided somehow got moisture inside them, and added the proper type s gearknob someone kindly sold me. Unfortunately it needs a retrim as it has seen better days

Car is looking sweet. Just need a bonnet spoiler to finish it off in my opinion.

One thing I forgot to ask. With your being the later 98 spec type s with midwing is yours premium white pearl nh624p? Or the 96 spec white diamond pearl nh603p.
Both a very similar in color expect the premium white has more pearl white in it and white diamond is more pearl blue/yellow.

I didn't realise they changed the colour, checked the code in the door shut and it says Int. Colour - Type A and Ext. Colour: NH-624P1, also says TPS S30 49 C, whatever that means

So it looks like I have the later spec paint which makes sense as the car was first registered in March 1999. To be honest the rubbish pics I take on my phone don't do the paint any justice at all, it really sparkles in the sun
