Thanks for all the comments people, it has helped, it sounds like the DC5 is the one for me. I won't be using this car as a daily, I do 50 miles a day for work and have a little Aygo for those duties.
The reason I was mentioning the Type S and not the S Spec is because I am probably going to get the fresh import through Torque GT, I have been talking to them for a while and they actually have a Type S in at the moment - https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds ... -s/8851431
I will just wait for them to find the right DC5 for me. I used to use my 4th gens for commuting but as cars get older using them as a daily takes it's toll. I think all Prelude's are pretty special so would probably not want to use one as a daily now anyway, I think people will start seeing the value of good Prelude's increase now.

I have just imported via torque gt. Mine is still in Japan awaiting deregistration. Is yours in Japan or UK side. Mine is top secret before you ask.ATR84 wrote:Yeah and they sent me the auction sheet, hardly a mark on itRattyMcClelland wrote:After importing and their profit etc. It's about right.wurlycorner wrote:drokk me they're asking a lot for that Type S...

I haven't secured a vehicle yet, but Torque GT do buy cars for stock as well so with any luck I will get a DC5 that way. If not I will let them import one to order so to speak. I am curious now.
