and this

in both the Prelude and the VW T6. Followed by

and this

Both are super quiet now. However moving from AD08r tyres to Pilot Sport 4 made a bigger difference in the Prelude.

Do you want eliminate noise from outside, or for get better quality of your sound system ?
For both of this reasons you looking for something like this (you can get different thickness of them) :

I'm using this one, but them quite difficult to get in here (This one is a little bit to thick)

Some pic of how it looks on the car

I think is that is exactly what you looking for

There are different types of vibration and different products for it. for a truck I would recommend quantity over quality and concentrate on panels. Get as much silver backed bitumen sound deadening as you can for the money, a heat gun or hair drier a roller and a thick glove and some stanley blades..
Decide which areas are the worse (arches etc) for it and layer it up. on car doors you can get 80% reduction from 20% coverage so its not all about covering every SQCM. for larger side panels you could do strips rather than whole areas. The idea is to break up the pattern of the oscillation rather than kill it all together.
For interior muffling you need to stuff wadding of some kind into all the empty cavities. You can get expensive stuff for this but I have found a few old polyester pillows pulled open and wedged into spaces to be magic. That or black pond filter sheets, or you can get that felt type stuff made from old clothes. some of it even has sticky back so you can place it over door panels etc.
I used the same in my red one and it was weird inside afterwards. Even your voice was without resonance. Totally dead air.

You don't have to coat the entire inside of the car with it (though you get maximum effect if you do)- just in the places where you would get a lot of road / exhaust noise. On my Civic, the entire bottom of the boot as well as spare wheel recess was coated with sound deadening. We also put a bunch on the rear wheel arches. On the inside of the doors and tailgate, we used sound deadening as well as sound proofing foam. Try doing it in bits until you get to the right amount of noise reduction, and then stop
