5gen 4ws problems
Upping old thread, but it might help somebody someday. Long story short: 4ws was back online in december 2016, after changing sub steering angle sensor in steering rack. In detail:
4ws ecu was giving main steering angle sensor (steering wheel) error, but actually the whole time it was a phisically broken sub sensor. The needle of it was not moving at all, so since these two are related, ecu somewhy threw a main sensor error. After changing sub sensor i had to reset error code, started the car and 4ws is working ever since. So dont rush in believing what ecu says hehe.

Hi, the 5g 4ws manual?
Yes, that would be useful I'm sure - the only oem service manual available is the USDM manual, which includes ATTS but not 4ws...
indigolemon is there someway these could be added to wiki? (appreciate it might mean locally hosting them)

If it's the 5th gen manual I can see what we can do, never come across it so far!
