Also listen out for any sloshing of water round bends. If you hear any, the drains in the rear skuttle are probably blocked (water leaks in the seal at the bottom of the rear window and can collect in the pan below)
Gently peel back the edges of all the roof and A/B pillar seals all round, to check for the paint being chaffed off and rust starting.

Might be a little late on this one, but...
This Buyers Guide is a little old now, but still covers the majority of things you need to check.
£4500 is a lot to pay, and I would expect it to be completely mint for that money, but due to rarity the prices have been going up for the last few years.
Looking at the ad, there's nothing that rings any bells, but it is sometimes hard to tell from an advert.
